The Langley Chiefs are very excited to announce that their first ever home game at the new Langley Events Centre will be broadcast live on the TEAM 1040, Vancouver’s flagship sports radio station.
The game, which will feature the heated rivalry between the Chiefs and the crosstown Surrey Eagles, will also mark the play-by-play debut of reputable show host Blake Price, who will be joined in the booth by former NHLer and BCHL alum Dave Tomlinson.
“Obviously we are really excited to have partnered with 1040,” Chiefs head coach and general manager Harvey Smyl said. “We think the exposure will help generate even more excitement for the Chiefs, the British Columbia Hockey League and the Events Centre.”
“September 12th was already going to be an exciting night for the league and Langley, and adding the TEAM 1040 to the mix just builds it even more.”
