Davidson inks with AIC

ddavidsonHaving proven to be one of the most durable players in BCHL history, and also showing a knack around the net, Surrey Eagles forward Darius Davidson has secured a college hockey future at NCAA Div. I American International College (AIC).

Davidson passed a pair of major milestones this season as he reach as streak of 165-straight games and also passed the 200-BCHL-games-played mark on Dec. 11.

The 6-foot-1, 196-pound leads the Eagles this season with 23 goals and 44 points in 41 games played. For his BCHL career, Davidson has accumulated 67 goals and 66 assists for 133 points.

At AIC, Davidson will join a Yellow Jackets program that competes in the NCAA’s Atlantic Hockey Association. Conference rivals are Army West Point, Bentley, Air Force, Niagara, Mercyhurst, Sacred Heart, Holy Cross, Robert Morris, RIT and Canisius.

Former BCHLers on the Yellow Jackets roster this season are Bryant Christian, Blake Christianson, Kyle Stephan, Alex Murray and Shawn McBride.

AIC’s campus is in Springfield, Mass and the Yellow Jackets play in the 8,000-seat Mass Mutual Center.
