Gould gold for Huskies in opening round

Gavin Gould chose the perfect time to produce the biggest offensive weekend of his NCAA career to date as he notched four goals, including a hat trick in a do-or-die game Sunday, to put Michigan Tech into the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) finals.

Michigan Tech compiled all four of Gould’s goals:

A native of North Vancouver, Gould played three seasons in the BCHL. His first two seasons were spent in Merritt with the Centennials and the Nanaimo Clippers acquired him for their push to the playoffs at the end of last season. In 169 career BCHL games, Gould racked up 65 goals and 90 assists for 155 points.
