Hope has big week, earns POW honours

West Kelowna Warriors forward Kylar Hope has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 10, the league announced Monday.

Hope led all scorers for the week that was with five goals and two assists in three games. The native of Lashburn, Sask. had two third-period goals to force overtime in an eventual 4-3 loss to Chilliwack where he was 1st Star. He had two more goals plus a helper in a do-or-die 5-2 win in Nanaimo the next game and finished his week with a goal in a 4-3 loss to Chilliwack.

Hope is second in playoff scoring for the Warriors with 10 goals and five assists in 17 games.
