Kane’s points binge earns POW

Chilliwack Chiefs forward Kale Kane has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending February 12, the league announced Monday.

Kane registered five goals and three assists for the Chiefs as the club went 3-0 for the week. To begin the week, Kane notched two goals – including the game-winner – and two assists in a 5-3 road win over Coquitlam where he was named 1st Star. The native of Kahnawake, Que. added two more goals to his total the next game and took another 1st Star in a 4-1 home win over Merritt. Kane concluded his week with a goal and an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over Langley.
