Reilly headed to RPI

Having secured a BCHL goalie for the coming season, NCAA Div. I RPI has added another BCHL piece to its back end.

Nanaimo Clippers defenceman Will Reilly has committed to play for the Engineers in the coming season, joining Wenatchee Wild netminder and Detroit Red Wings draft pick Chase Perry, who committed to RPI in early December.

Reilly posted nine goals and 23 assists in what will be his only BCHL campaign. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound native of Toronto also showed a willingness to provide a physical presence as he logged 75 penalty minutes.

At RPI, Reilly will join fellow BCHL alums Jared Wilson and Meirs Moore on the blueline corps. The Engineers also have Evan Tironese and Louie Nanne among their forward group.

RPI competes in the NCAA’s Div. I ECAC Hockey conference along with Quinnipiac, Cornell, Harvard, Princeton, Union, Clarkson, Yale, St. Lawrence, Brown, Colgate and Dartmouth.
