The Warriors crushed the Express 7-2

Nik Amundrud came up big, stopping 50 of 52 shots throughout the game. The West Kelowna Warriors took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Chase Stevenson.

Max Bulawka delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Matt Kowalski did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Wildauer opened the scoring for the Express with a goal at 7:56 with helpers from his linemates, Sanda and Pederson. Kowalski answered for the Warriors with a goal at 17:11 with helpers from his linemates, Murphy and Campese.

During the second period, Reim netted a goal at 9:48 with assists from his teammates Bulawka and Head. Stevenson put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 14:36 with assists from his linemates, Kowalski and Dhaliwal. Kleysen scored a goal at 19:59 with helpers from Ryan and Marino.

In the third, Bulawka netted a goal at 3:12 with helpers from Ryan and Dhaliwal. Campese put in a goal at 5:54 with assists from his linemates, Dhaliwal and Stevenson. Marino deposited a goal at 10:19 with helpers from his linemates, Norlin and Tilsley. Delorme answered for Coquitlam with a goal at 15:24 with assists from Ambrosio and Scott.

West Kelowna’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Amundrud’s big night as he stopped 50 of the 52 shots he faced. Amundrud’s counterpart, Cooper, also had a big night, managing to stop 27 of 34, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the West Kelowna Warriors’ record to (3-1-0-0).
