It’s a story well known to fans following the BCHL.
Triplets Gerry, Leo and Myles Fitzgerald – who each played four BCHL seasons before going off to NCAA hockey at Bemidji State – played almost exclusively on the same line and quickly became fan favourites wherever they went.
A sidebar to the story that often gets mentioned, much to the chagrin of the triplets, is the fact they appeared as child actors in the movies Baby Geniuses and Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2.
Their story has now been discovered by entire new groups of college hockey fans and caught the attention this week of the New York Times.
