Sherwood Park leads the series 1-0

GAME NOTES:

  • Brooks outshot Sherwood Park 41-19, but Crusaders goalie Filip Vavro made 40 saves to earn the win
  • Stevie Grumley broke a 1-1 tie in the second period with his first goal of the playoffs and the eventual game-winner

COASTAL EAST SCORES:

#1 Prince George Spruce Kings – 3
#2 Chilliwack Chiefs – 2

GAME NOTES:

  • The Spruce Kings came back from being down 2-0 in the game
  • Trent LeDrew scored the game-winning goal on the power play with 5:02 remaining in the third period
  • Gabriel Anctil and Dustin Renas scored first period goals for Chilliwack

#2 Nanaimo Clippers – 3
