The NHL Central Scouting Service has published its preliminary list of player ratings and there are 14 Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) players listed, including three from the BCHL.

The BCHLers included are:
Alec Capstick, D, Langley Rivermen
Griffin Mendel, D, Penticton Vees
Kyle Betts, F, Powell River Kings
The Alberta Junior Hockey League and Central Canada Hockey League also had three players listed and the Ontario Junior Hockey League led CJHL leagues with five players listed.
Below is a list of all the other CJHL players included in this week’s list:

Ian Mitchell, D, Spruce Grove Saints – AJHL
Jarrod Gourley, D, Spruce Grove Saints – AJHL
Cameron Crotty, D, Brockville Braves – CCHL
Shawn Kennedy, LW, Carleton Place Canadians – CCHL
Mathieu Franche, D, Cumberland Grads – CCHL
Josh Cammalleri, LW, Burlington Cougars – OJHL
Phillip Lagunov, C, Burlington Cougars – OJHL
Nick Campoli, C, North York Rangers – OJHL
Matthew Kellenberger, D, Oakville Blades – OJHL
Bryce Misley, C, Oakville Blades – OJHL
Of all the CJHL players listed, only Makar and Mitchell were rated as ‘B’ prospects, indicating a possible second- or third-round pick.
