Bandits take series lead as series shifts to PG

The Prince George Spruce Kings have now lost more games in the Doyle Cup than they did in the entire four rounds of the BCHL playoffs.

Jakob Lee scored twice for the Brooks Bandits who earned a 4-0 win in Game 3 of the Doyle Cup to take a 2-1 series lead.

Opening the scoring on the power play with just 12 seconds remaining in the first was Ray Christy with his first goal of the Doyle Cup. Lee added on in the second and added extra insurance in the third period.

Tyler Campbell added the final Bandits goal, again on the man advantage, at 7:10 of the third.

Pierce Charleson stopped all 21 pucks that came his way while Logan Neaton made 27 saves for the Spruce Kings.

The teams will now travel to B.C. where all remaining games will be hosted by the Spruce Kings at Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
