BCHL and Rogers announce five scholarship recipients for 2025-26

The BCHL has announced this year’s five winners of the BCHL Scholarship Program, supported by Rogers.

After gathering submissions throughout the season, the league’s selection committee has chosen five players who will receive a $2,000 scholarship.

This program is designed to provide graduating BCHL players with financial support for the next step of their hockey and academic careers.

The recipients were selected based on their academic record, their stated future career and education goals and their time spent in the BCHL.

This year’s winners are:

Massimo Fazio – Surrey, Cowichan Valley (University of Toronto)
Isaac Johnson – Brooks Bandits (Bemidji State University)
Brody Juck
– Coquitlam, Trail, Spruce Grove, Victoria, Langley (Acadia University)
Carter Oakenfold
– West Kelowna, Victoria (Brock University)
Caden Tremblay – Alberni Valley Bulldogs (University of Alaska-Anchorage)

“The BCHL would like to congratulate this year’s group of scholarship recipients,” said league Commissioner Steven Cocker. “The BCHL is significantly invested in the academic futures of our athletes and this program is a great way to set them up for success in the future.”

“We would also like to thank Rogers for supporting this initiative once again.”

This is the seventh year that this program has been in place with a combined $70,000 worth of scholarship funds awarded to 35 graduating BCHL players.
