Hayward put Prince George ahead with another goal in the second, his fourth in the last two games, but Jacob Modry tied the game midway through the third period to force overtime.

Vanderbeck added two assists to his first-period goal and now has seven points in his last two games, and eight in total in the Fred Page Cup Final. He was also named the game’s first star.
