Bar discusses his recent ranking as a B Prospect on NHL Central Scouting’s initial Players to Watch list ahead of the 2021 draft. He also touches on his journey to the BCHL and his commitment to Harvard University.
Tverberg is also a Harvard commit. He’s coming off a whirlwind week where he was traded to Alberni Valley on Monday and in the lineup contributing to a Bulldogs overtime victory with a goal and an assist on Tuesday against the Victoria Grizzlies. The Ontario product was also drafted by his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Speaking of the Grizzlies, we also caught up with the league’s leading goal scorer Cody Monds. The 19-year-old is in his second BCHL season after being a finalist for Rookie of the Year last year. He and his team are off to a hot start offensively as they lead the Island Cup standings with a record of 6-1-2.
