Five of the BC Hockey League's brightest stars are heading east this week to participate in the Canadian Junior Hockey League Prospects Game in Summerside, P.E.I.
Forwards Spencer Bennett (Surrey Eagles), Zac Ashdown (Nanaimo Clippers) and Curtis McKenzie (Penticton Vees) are joined by Prince George Spruce Kings defenceman Wes McLeod and Victoria Grizzlies netminder Alexandre Peck.
The game, which is set for Wednesday, December 17th in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, will be preceeded a night earlier by a skills competition.
A total of 40 of Canada's top Junior A players will be in attendance for the two-day showcase, which will be one of the most highly scouted events prior to next June's NHL Entry Draft.
