Chilliwack’s Jack Plandowski named 2025-26 Most Sportsmanlike Player

Chilliwack Chiefs forward Jack Plandowski has been named the 2025-26 winner of the Bob Fenton Trophy as the BCHL’s Most Sportsmanlike Player.

Plandowski ended the 2025-26 regular season just one point back of the scoring lead, wrapping up his first campaign in the BCHL with 75 points in 54 games. His 29 goals were tied for eighth in the league, his 46 assists were tied for second and he only totaled 14 minutes in penalties.

The 21-year-old went on an 11-game point streak from Jan. 24 to Feb. 21, starting with a season-best five-point performance where he had a goal and four assists in a game against the Langley Rivermen. Eight of the 11 games during his streak were multi-point outings.

This is the sixth time a Chiefs player has received this award and the first since Cameron Johnson won in 2022.

Other finalists for the award were Brooks Bandits forward Jack Good and West Kelowna Warriors forward Ruslan Jamaldinov.

Individual awards are determined by a vote between the 20 BCHL head coaches at the conclusion of the regular season.
