Christensen heading to AIC

American International College (AIC) has had some good recruiting success late in the season from the Wenatchee Wild.

Having inked Kyle Stephan in March, AIC has just landed another standout Wild forward in Blake Christensen.

A native of Rochester Hills, Mich., Christensen posted 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points in 52 games this past season. He added five goals and three assists in 10 playoff games.

AIC competes in the NCAA’s Div. I Atlantic Hockey Association. Also in their conference are Bentley, Army West Point, Air Force, RIT, Canisius, Niagara, Mercyhurst, Holy Cross, Robert Morris and Sacred Heart.

Christensen and Stephan are the only two BCHLers from this past season committed to AIC. The Yellowjackets had three BCHL grads on their roster last season in Bryant Christian, Alex Murray and Shawn McBride.
