Christopoulos, Marshall earn conference nods

More BCHL-trained goalies are continuing to shine in the NCAA this season.

Already having been recognized once this season for his stellar play, Alberni Valley Bulldogs alumnus Billy Christopoulos of Air Force took another weekly conference award. Just one puck got past the Raleigh, N.C. native as the Falcons picked up two road wins over RIT. Christopoulos is now 11-10-3 on the season for Air Force with a .911 save percentage and a 2.47 goals-against average.

With Alberni Valley in the 2014-15 season, Christopoulos had a record 0f 22-22-1 with three shutouts, a 3.05 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage.

Joining him this week is Trail Smoke Eaters product Linden Marshall of RPI who earned the ECAC Hockey goalie of the week nod. Posting a win, a loss and a tie in a busy week for the Engineers, Marshall made 95 saves on 100 shots, upping his season save percentage to .911. The tie and win recorded by Marshall snapped a six-game winless skid for RPI.
