Wenatchee Wild forward Charlie Combs has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending October 30, the league announced Monday.
Combs scored back-t0-back hat tricks and was named 1st Star both nights as the Wild won a pair of games on home ice. The St. Louis, Mo. native assisted on his team’s first goal and went to score three of his own in a 5-3 victory over Merritt. He notched a natural hat trick, including the game-winner, the next night in a 4-1 win over Penticton.
The six-goal weekend moved Combs into first in the BCHL and he’s second in overall scoring with 29 points in 16 games.
