Coquitlam Express forward and captain Jackson Cressey has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 24, the league announced Monday.
Cressey scored four goals in two games, including a hat trick, and got the game-winner both nights. The West Vancouver, B.C. product got the decisive goal in the waning minutes of a 2-1 home victory over the Wenatchee Wild and followed that with a three-goal, one-assist night where was 1st Star after potting the winner with nine seconds left in the first OT.
The Princeton commit leads the Express with 29 goals on the season.
