West Kelowna Warriors forward Jonathan Desbiens has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending April 17, the league announced Monday.
Desbiens picked up 1st Star in Game 2 of the BCHL Finals after potting a pair of goals, including the game-winner in the third period, plus as assist in a 6-3 road win the put the Warriors up 2-0 in the best-of-seven series. He leads all scorers in the postseason with 14 goals and has also added five assists.
