Brooks Bandits forward Dmitrijs Dilevka, Blackfalds Bulldogs goaltender Olivér Király and Chilliwack Chiefs forward Boris Borin have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.
1st Star – Dmitrijs Dilevka (F) – Brooks Bandits
Dilevka led the league in scoring over the first weekend of the Rogers BCHL Playoffs, piling up five points in back-to-back Bandits wins in their first round series against the Spruce Grove Saints.
The Riga, Latvia native had a goal and two helpers in Game 1 on Friday in a 5-2 win, then followed that up with another multi-point effort the following night when he chipped in with a goal and an assist in a 4-1 win in Game 2. Three of his five points came with the man advantage.
After taking a 2-0 series lead, Dilevka and the Bandits will play game 3 in Spruce Grove on Tuesday night.
2nd Star – Olivér Király (G) – Blackfalds Bulldogs
Király stopped 37 of the 38 shots he faced over the weekend to post a league-best .974 save percentage and a 0.51 goals-against average in his first two playoff starts, helping Blackfalds to a split against the Sherwood Park Crusaders.
The 19-year-old only allowed one goal in Game 1 on Friday, but ended up taking the loss in a 1-0 final. The following night, Király stopped 29 of 29 shots to earn his first career playoff shutout in a 4-0 Bulldogs victory to even up the series at 1-1. He was named first star of the game. Including his regular season totals, it was his fifth shutout in 2025-26.
Király and the Bulldogs continue their first round series against the Crusaders on Tuesday night in Sherwood Park.
3rd Star – Boris Borin (F) – Chilliwack Chiefs
Borin collected three goals and one assist for four points in two games over the weekend.
In Game 1 of Chilliwack’s first round series against the Coquitlam Express, the Russian forward had a hat trick, all coming in the third period, in his team’s 5-4 overtime loss. With the Chiefs down 3-2 early in the third, Borin scored twice in 38 seconds to give them the lead. Then after Coquitlam scored twice in 20 seconds in the final two minutes to re-take the lead, the 17-year-old potted his third of the game with 30 seconds remaining to force overtime. A night later, Borin picked up the primary assist on Chilliwack’s winner late in the fourth overtime period in their marathon 4-3 win in Game 2.
The Chiefs and Express continue their series tonight with Game 3 in Coquitlam.
