Another pair of BCHL graduates were doing damage last week at the NCAA level and it’s led to more weekly player awards.
Victoria Grizzlies alum Gerry Fitzgerald, who finished up his BCHL career in 2014, had a goal and three assists for Bemidji State University to take the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) player of the week award

Former West Kelowna Warriors standout Jonathan Desbiens had a hat trick as part of a four-goal week for Bentley University to take the Atlantic Hockey Association player of the week nod. Desbiens concluded his BCHL career in 2016 with an RBC Cup national title with West Kelowna.
