Northern Michigan is located in Marquette, Mich. and plays in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) along with Alabama Huntsville, Alaska Anchorage, Alaska, Bemidji State, Bowling Green, Ferris State, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech and Minnesota State.

The Wildcats roster this year features a number of BCHL alums, including Tyger Howat, Rylan Yaremko, Tony Bretzman, Adam Rockwood, Luke Voltin, and Darien Craighead.

Wenatchee Wild forward Josh Arnold is the only other current BCHLer committed to Northern Michigan and will join Ghantous there next season.
