The Nanaimo Clippers have won four straight games after going 2-11-1-0 in their previous 14 games. Nanaimo has won a league-high seven overtime games this season and along with Langley have a league high four wins when trailing after two periods.

Head Coach and General Manager Bill Bestwick recently coached his 1000th game in the BCHL and former Clipper Michael Olson had high praise as he told Michael Rhode of the Nanaimo Daily News, “When I meet guys that I played against when I was with the Clippers, they ask me what it was like to play for Bill Bestwick. I know he probably doesn't have the greatest reputation around the league, but if you are involved in any type of way with Bill, you are in good company. He'll do anything for you. He may tough on you and rough around the edges but that's because he's like a father figure, he's like a parent. He wants the world for you. He tries to get the best out of you and help you along the way. When you are involved with him, you really get to see his true colours and what he's all about.” The rest of the article is here.
