Lambert signs with Wolverines

The 2018 Michigan Wolverines recruiting class now has a third member from the BCHL.

Vernon Vipers forward Jimmy Lambert has committed, joining Penticton Vees players Kenny Johnson and Cassidy Bowes.

Lambert is second in Vipers scoring this season with nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points in 17 games. For his BCHL career, the native of Saskatoon has 43-61-104 in 118 games played.

At Michigan, he will join a Wolverines program that competes in the NCAA’s Big 10 conference along with Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State, Minnesota and Notre Dame.

The Wolverines currently have two BCHL alums on their roster in senior forward Dexter Dancs and freshman forward Dakota Raabe.
