With a full BCHL season under his belt plus a trip to the league final last season, it didn’t take much more on the hockey resume this season for Chilliwack Chiefs forward Tommy Lee to land an NCAA Div. I spot at RPI.

Lee posted 16-27-43 last year while not missing a game for the Chiefs. He has two goals on the young 2017-18 campaign is one of the top returning offensive players on the team along with captain Will Calverley.

RPI, whose team is called the Engineers, had five BCHL alums on their roster last season and welcome more this year in Owen Stout and Gavin Payne.

The Engineers compete in the NCAA’s ECAC Hockey conference along with Brown, Clarkson, Harvard, St. Lawrence, Quinnipiac, Yale, Princeton, Union, Dartmouth, Colgate and Cornell. Dave Smith is the team’s head coach, entering his first year with the team and one of their assistant coaches is former BCHL player and coach Nolan Graham.
