Massy to play at SAIT

After a final BCHL season that saw him establish highs in points and penalty minutes, Victoria Grizzlies defenceman Kevin Massy is taking his game to the college level.

Massy has committed to play at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) starting this fall. The 6-foot-3, 210-pound Victoria native posted nine goals and 29 assists for 38 points while playing 56 games for the Grizz this past season. He also racked up 101 minutes in the penalty box.

Over three seasons and 157 BCHL games, Massy registered 21 goals and 72 assists for 93 points.

This past season, former BCHLers Trevor Cameron, Mike Puddifant, Brenden Forbes, Austin Smith and Brandon Egli played for SAIT. Vernon Vipers captain Colton McCarthy is also committed to attend starting this coming season.

SAIT, located in Calgary, competes in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Association (ACAC) alongside Grant MacEwen, Concordia, NAIT, Keyano College, Portage College, Red Deer College, Briercrest and Augustana.
