The BCHL announced today that Nanaimo Clippers volunteer Caitlin Lundgren has been named the April Volunteer of the Month, presented by Rogers.
Each month during the season, the BCHL will recognize one team volunteer whose dedication to their organization and their community goes above and beyond.
Lundgren currently serves as the Billet Coordinator for the organization.
“The Clippers are such an important part of this community,” she said. “I think it’s really important that, if you love something that’s a part of your community, to be involved in it.”
Lundgren has been working or volunteering with the Clippers since 2018.
“Her title might be Billet Coordinator, but she steps in and helps in so many different areas,” said Spencer Hewson, the Clippers Director of Business and Player Development. “She’s not only willing to help, but cheerful about doing it. It’s hard to put into words just how much she means to the team.”
