Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Month
Jack Ivey (F) – Freshman – Army West Point (Wenatchee Wild)
Ivey led all Atlantic Hockey rookies in the month of February with nine points on four goals and five assists in seven games of action. The 2004-born forward orchestrated three multi-point efforts in the month, which included his first career multi-goal and three-point effort in Army’s 5-3 win over Sacred Heart on Feb. 8. Three of his four goals came on the power play, which matched the league high among all skaters for the month.
Ivey played one BCHL season with the Wenatchee Wild in 2021-22, alongside his twin brother Benjamin, who also plays for Army this year. Jack collected eight points in 47 games during his lone season in the league.
Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week
Anthony Yu (F) – Freshman – Air Force Academy (Powell River Kings)
Yu potted the game-winning goal in double overtime of Air Force’s first-round conference tournament win to help his team advance to the quarterfinals. His goal came on the power play at 13:30 of the second overtime. It was the first game-winning goal of Yu’s collegiate career.
The Baldwin Park, Calif. product played two seasons with the Powell River Kings from 2022 to 2024. In his second season, he was the team’s leading scorer with 55 points in 53 games on 18 goals and a team-best 37 assists.
CCHA Rookie of the Week
Eli Pulver (G) – Freshman – Minnesota State University (Surrey/Salmon Arm)
Pulver picked up a victory in his first collegiate appearance on Saturday, stopping 23 of 24 shots in a 5-1 victory over Bemidji State. He did not allow a goal at even strength, making seven saves in the first period, seven in the second and nine in the third.
The 22-year-old netminder played three BCHL seasons from 2021 to 2024, the first two with the Surrey Eagles and his last with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. In 2022-23, Pulver posted the best save percentage in the league with a mark of .930 and led the league with six shutouts. He was named a Second-Team All-Star in both his second and third seasons.
