West Kelowna Warriors forward Kelsen Podworny, Nanaimo Clippers forward Samuel Boisvert and Clippers goaltender Eliot Séguin-Lescarbeau have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.
1st Star – Kelsen Podworny (F) – West Kelowna Warriors
In three games last week, Podworny tied for the league lead in both points (six) and goals (four), helping the Warriors clinch the Ron Boileau Trophy as the top team overall in the regular season.
On Monday, the Kelowna, B.C. product collected a goal and an assist, including his third power-play marker of the season, in a 5-3 road win over the Powell River Kings. In a matchup with the Spruce Grove Saints on Friday night, Podworny scored twice in a 5-4 loss. He wrapped up his regular season with his second straight multi-point outing the next day, a one-goal, one-assist performance in an overtime loss to the Okotoks Oilers.
The 2007-born forward closes the 2025-26 regular season with 10 goals, 11 assists and 21 points in 46 games.
2nd Star – Samuel Boisvert (F) – Nanaimo Clippers
Boisvert produced six points in three games last week, tying for the league lead over that span.
In Friday night’s game against the Chilliwack Chiefs, the 20-year-old scored the first goal of the game, which held up as the winner, and added an assist in a 5-0 victory. The following night, Boisvert registered an assist in a 4-3 overtime loss to the Victoria Grizzlies. In the rematch in Victoria on Sunday, the University of Alaska-Anchorage commit had a goal and two helpers in a 7-2 triumph.
Boisvert finishes his regular season averaging over a point per game with 49 in 46 contests on 19 goals and 30 assists.
3rd Star – Eliot Séguin-Lescarbeau (G) – Nanaimo Clippers
Séguin-Lescarbeau went 2-0-0 over the weekend, stopping a combined 55 of 57 shots to earn a .965 save percentage, a 1.00 goals-against average and one shutout.
The St-Jérôme, Que. native earned his fifth shutout of the season on Friday night, just one back of the league lead, stopping all 21 shots he faced in a 5-0 home win over the Chilliwack Chiefs. He was named first star of the game. After a night off on Saturday, he was back in the crease on Sunday afternoon to start the road portion of a home-and-home with the Victoria Grizzlies. Séguin-Lescarbeau made 34 saves on 36 shots in a 7-2 victory.
The 2005-born netminder ends his regular season with a 23-14-2 record. His 23 wins are fourth among BCHL netminders, while his .903 save percentage ranks fifth and his 2,298 minutes played is second most in the league.
