Reierson, Croxall, Kim named FortisBC 3 Stars of the Month

Langley Rivermen forward Aaron Reierson, Blackfalds Bulldogs forward Matthew Croxall and Trail Smoke Eaters forward Christian Kim have been named the FortisBC 3 Stars of the Month.

1st Star – Aaron Reierson (F) – Langley Rivermen

Reierson led the BCHL with 12 goals in 10 games in November, while also finishing first with 17 points.

The University of Alaska-Anchorage commit had a point in every game during the month and is currently riding a 12-game streak going back to October. Reierson also scored at least one goal in nine of 10 contests in November. His best stretch came on Nov. 21 and 22 when he scored five goals in two games, including his third hat trick of the season, as the Rivermen split their weekend set.

Reierson’s 21 goals in 23 games this season lead the BCHL, while his 33 points are third most in the league.

2nd Star – Matthew Croxall (F) – Blackfalds Bulldogs

Croxall put up 15 points in 10 games during the month of November on eight goals and seven helpers.

The Chicago, Ill. product picked up at least a point in nine of 10 contests and had multiple points on four separate occasions. On Nov. 9, Croxall collected a goal and two assists in a 5-2 home win over the Brooks Bandits and on Nov. 14, he notched two goals and a helper in a 9-1 victory over the Okotoks Oilers.

The College of the Holy Cross commit has 12 goals on the season, tied for second on his team, as well as 21 points in 25 games.

3rd Star – Christian Kim (F) – Trail Smoke Eaters

Kim put up 15 points in nine games during the month on four goals and 11 assists.

The fourth-year BCHL veteran had a point in every November game, including a three-point outing to kick off the month on Nov. 1 with a goal and two assists in a 5-2 home win against the Cranbrook Bucks. He also collected three points on Nov. 28 when he had a trio of helpers in Trail’s 6-5 victory over the Vernon Vipers.

Kim, who is committed to Air Force Academy, is the Smoke Eaters leading point getter with 25 in 22 contests so far this season. His 17 assists also lead the team.
