Langley Rivermen forward Aaron Reierson, Prince George Spruce Kings forward Kazumo Sasaki and Brooks Bandits forward Jack Rosensteel have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.
1st Star – Aaron Reierson (F) – Langley Rivermen
The 2005-born forward tied for the BCHL lead in both goals and points last week with five and eight respectively over four games.
Reierson did all of his damage over two contests. In the Rivermen’s 2025 BCHL Showcase finale on Thursday against the Sherwood Park Crusaders, the Moorhead, Minn. product notched his first hat trick in the BCHL, while adding an assist for a career-best four-point outing, in an 8-6 victory. He was named the first star of the game. Two days later, he matched that milestone with his second straight game with four points, this time with two goals and two assists, in a 6-4 road victory over the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.
Reierson now has 11 points in 11 games on six goals and five assists.
2nd Star – Kazumo Sasaki (F) – Prince George Spruce Kings
Sasaki tied for the league lead with eight points last week, finishing with three goals and five assists in four contests.
The Lake Superior State University commit had points in all four games, starting with an assist at the BCHL Showcase in a 3-2 Prince George loss to the Sherwood Park Crusaders and followed by a goal in 6-2 loss to the Brooks Bandits. The Spruce Kings returned home for a back-to-back set with the Nanaimo Clippers where Sasaki registered a goal and two assists in each game, both resulting in PG wins.
The third-year BCHLer now has points in six straight games and eight of nine contests to start the year. His 15 points on the year put him in a tie for sixth in league scoring.
3rd Star – Jack Rosensteel (F) – Brooks Bandits
Rosensteel finished his week with three goals, four assists and seven points in four Bandits wins.
The 19-year-old forward picked up a goal and an assist in the team’s opener at the 2025 BCHL Showcase on Tuesday in a 5-3 victory over the Powell River Kings. The following day, Rosensteel had another multi-point performance with a pair of helpers in Brooks’ 6-2 win against the Prince George Spruce Kings. After being held pointless in the Bandits win over the Surrey Eagles on Friday, the Princeton University commit totaled two goals and an assist and was named first star in his team’s 6-4 triumph over the Chilliwack Chiefs on Saturday in a rematch of last year’s championship series.
Through 10 games this season, Rosensteel has 12 points, which is second on his team.
