As part of the weekend festivities for the BCHL Road Show, the league and LNG Canada have created the Road Show Fan Zone, dedicated to interactive and fun activities for the whole family!
The Fan Zone will be held on the Tamitik Arena concourse and will run on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 1 to 5:30 p.m.
Fun skate
The organizing committee will host a fun skate at Tamitik Arena on Saturday and Sunday. It’s free to participate, skate rentals are available on site and helmets are mandatory.
Canucks Alumni
The Vancouver Canucks Alumni is a proud partner of the BCHL Road Show presented by LNG Canada and they are sending two of their most distinguished members – Dave Babych and Jyrki Lumme. Both players were an integral part of the famous 1994 Canucks team that made it to the Stanley Cup Finals. Babych and Lumme will both be on site for meet and greets and autograph sessions throughout the weekend.
BCHL
On top of having a chance to meet the Canucks Alumni players, fans will also get a chance to meet and greet players from the two teams participating in the Road Show, the Prince George Spruce Kings and the Langley Rivermen.
Fred Page Cup
The BCHL’s championship trophy, the Fred Page Cup, will also be on hand all weekend. Most recently engraved with the names of the 2018-19 Prince George Spruce Kings, fans will have a chance to have their picture taken with the league’s ultimate prize!
Kids Zone
If you’re bringing your young ones to the event, we’ve also got you covered there! There will be activities just for kids, including face painting and youth entertainment hosted by members of the Kitimat Ice Demons senior men’s team.
