The Smoke Eaters shutout the Warriors 4-0

The Trail Smoke Eaters' offense had a big night, peppering the West Kelowna Warriors with 27 shots throughout the game, to go along with Brandon Wells' shutout. The Trail Smoke Eaters took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Levi Glasman and never looked back.

Andre Ghantous delivered for his team with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists) and Ross Armour did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Glasman opened the scoring for Trail with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 8:16 with helpers from Ghantous and Barton.

In the second, Ghantous netted a goal at 17:58 with helpers from his linemates, Armour and Ghirardosi.

In the third, Armour put in a goal at 8:23 with assists from his linemates, Ghantous and Howarth. Tuck scored a goal at 16:00 with assists from his linemates, Ghirardosi and Murphy.

Trail’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Wells’ shutout, as he stopped all 21 of the shots he faced. On the other hand, Wells’ counterpart, Amundrud, and West Kelowna’s defense had a miserable night stopping only 23 of 26 shots.

This win brings the Trail Smoke Eaters’ record to (353-449-72-0).
