The Vees defeat the Vipers 3-1

The Penticton Vees' offense had a big night, peppering the Vernon Vipers with 33 shots throughout the game. The Penticton Vees took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Duncan Campbell.

Gabe Bast did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Bast opened the scoring for Penticton with a goal at 7:51 with a helper from Bowes.

During the second, Campbell deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 5:25 with assists from his teammates Jones and Bast. Sanheim put in a goal at 13:20 with a helper from fellow Vees forward Sillinger.

In the third period, Brandt finally put the Vipers on the board with a goal at 9:34 with an assist from Lansdell.

Penticton’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Robson’s big night as he stopped 28 of the 29 shots he faced. Robson’s counterpart, Hanson, also had a big night, managing to stop 30 of 33, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Penticton Vees’ record to (643-242-45-0).
