Veteran blueliner Robertson lands deal to Merrimack

The Vernon Vipers hockey club is pleased to announce that 20-year-old defenceman Sean Robertson has committed to attend Merrimack College for the upcoming 2012-13 hockey season.

Robertson is one of the longest-serving players the BCHL has ever seen as he suited up for 252 games. He spent the majority of his time with the Victoria Grizzlies and came to Vernon in mid December. Other than the 2009-10 season where a broken leg sidelined him after 12 games, he missed only three other regular season games.

The Vernon Vipers would like to congratulate Sean on this recent accomplishment and would like to wish him continued success in the future.

Merrimack College is located is Massachusetts and plays in NCAA's Hockey East conference. Robertson will join Mike Collins and Kyle Bigos as former Vipers on the current Merrimack roster. He also adds to a large list of former BCHL players currently on the team.
