Vipers’ Santana commits to Boston University

The Vernon Vipers Hockey Club is very pleased to announce that 20-year old forward Ryan Santana has committed to play for the defending NCAA Division I champion Boston University Terriers.

Santana joined the Vipers at the beginning of the 2008/09 season after playing in the United States Hockey League and was a key ingredient in the team's Fred Page Cup, Doyle Cup and RBC Cup championship runs.

In 56 regular season games, the Yorba Linda, California native scored 12 goals and added 13 assists. He counted a pair of points in eight BCHL postseason games.

The Vernon Vipers would like to wish Ryan continued success in his hockey career and congratulate him on a well-deserved accomplishment.
