The Westside Warriors took back what they gave away on Friday, taking two points on the road in Salmon Arm to even the weekend home-and-home series between the two Interior Conference powers.
Kyle Singleton scored twice and added an assist in the 5-1 victory. The Warriors forward scored the game winner shorthanded midway through the second period and capped his team's scoring in the third.
Salmon Arm opened the scoring on first period power-play, with Travis Statchuk converting a feed from David Killip at the 7:15 mark of the frame. But it was all the offence the SilverBacks would muster, as Singleton, Alex Grieve and Cole Wilson scored in the middle period to build a lead that Westside would not relinquish.
Warriors starter Kevin Jebson earned first star honours after allowing just a single goal on 32 shots, while Salmon Arm netminder Tony Ierfino made 29 saves in a losing effort.
Salmon Arm now has two days to prepare for a home ice encounter with the Vernon Vipers on Tuesday, while Westside is next in action on Wednesday when they travel to Merritt.
