Victoria Grizzlies forward and captain PJ Conlon has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 17, the league announced Monday.
Conlon scored four goals and three assists in three games, all road wins, as the Grizz extended their win streak to five. The Goderich, Ont. product broke out with a natural hat trick – including the game-winner – and two helpers in a 7-1 win over rival Cowichan Valley where he was name the game’s 2nd Star. He added an assist in a 4-2 win in Prince George where he was again 2nd Star and finished up with a goal in a 7-2 victory in Surrey.
