The BC Ford Dealers Fred Page Cup

Fred_Page_Cup_cropThe Fred Page Cup is the official BCHL Championship Trophy.

We’re proud to have the BC Ford Dealers as our presenting sponsor of The Fred Page Cup and presenters of The BCHL Road To The Fred Page Cup, which covers the progress of our teams throughout the season as they battle their way to the BCHL Championship title!

Each year, over 370 BCHL players begin a season-long quest to be crowned British Columbia Hockey League Champions and to hoist the Fred Page BCHL_FORD_Logo_WhiteCup.

The league went to a three-division alignment in the 2013-14 season and the Coquitlam Express were the first league champions under that alignment. The Penticton Vees came out on top in 2015 and last season, the West Kelowna Warriors earned the title for the first time in franchise history.

For the first time since the 1979 Bellingham Blazers, a U.S.-based team hoisted the Fred Page Cup as BCHL champions as the Wenatchee Wild claimed the title and represented the BCHL in stellar fashion, winning the Doyle Cup and reaching the RBC Cup semifinals.
In the league championship series against Prince George, the Wild were led by captain AJ Vanderbeck who notched four goals and four assists in the five games. Wenatchee also got shutouts in Game 1 and the clinching Game 5 from Austin Park.
