The BC Ford Dealers Fred Page Cup

Fred_Page_Cup_cropThe Fred Page Cup is the official BCHL Championship Trophy.

We’re proud to have the BC Ford Dealers as our presenting sponsor of The Fred Page Cup and presenters of The BCHL Road To The Fred Page Cup, which covers the progress of our teams throughout the season as they battle their way to the BCHL Championship title!

Each year, over 370 BCHL players begin a season-long quest to be crowned British Columbia Hockey League Champions and to hoist the Fred Page BCHL_FORD_Logo_WhiteCup.

The league went to a three-division alignment in the 2013-14 season and the Coquitlam Express were the first league champions under that alignment. The Penticton Vees came out on top in 2015 and last season, the West Kelowna Warriors earned the title for the first time in franchise history.

Warriors captain Kyle Marino received the Cup from commissioner John Grisdale and raised it high overhead in front of a huge and happy home crowd on April  23.
A No. 2 seed in the Interior Division, the Warriors eliminated regular-season winners Penticton in Round 2, knocked out Nanaimo in Round 3 and made good by defeating Chilliwack in six games in the Finals. Forwards Kylar Hope and Jonathan Desbiens tied for the playoff lead in goals (15) and Hope tied for the scoring lead with Chilliwack’s Jordan Kawaguchi (24 points).
