Lambert deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 12:39 with assists from his linemates, Wishnowski and Stapley.
Vernon’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Taylor as he stopped 19 of the 24 shots he faced. On the other hand, Taylor’s counterpart, Didur, and Salmon Arm’s defense did not have such a great night stopping only 24 of 30 shots.
