The BCHL has announced Toronto, Ont. and Prague, Czechia as the two locations for the league’s third annual Futures Series camps in June. Registration is now open.
Camp attendees will have the chance to show off their skills to BCHL teams, while working directly with BCHL coaches through on-ice practices, scrimmages and one-on-one evaluations. Attendees and their families will also have the opportunity to attend an education seminar run by the BCHL.
This will be the first time the league has ever held a camp in Europe, while it is the third straight year this event will take place in the Toronto area.
“We are excited to be bringing back our Futures Series event for the third straight year and expanding it to include European dates for the first time ever,” said BCHL Commissioner Steven Cocker. “Since its inception in 2024, this event has become an effective way for players to get on the radar of BCHL teams, already resulting in a number of prospects being affiliated with our league. With our player pool expanding to Europe in recent years, we felt it was important to expand our reach. We look forward to getting to Toronto and Prague in June and working with another group of exciting young athletes.”
