Alumni Spotlight – Brendan Morrison

Vancouver Canuck Centre Brendan Morrison played his BCHL hockey in Penticton as a member of the then Penticton Panthers.

After receiving an NCAA Scholarship to the University of Mighigan, the BC born Morrison went on to a prolific College Career where he was named the CCHA Rookie of the Year in 1993-94, the CCHA Player of the Year twice (1995-96 & 1996-97), the NCAA Tournament MVP in 1995-96, the CCHA MVP in 1996- 97, and the winner of the 1996-97 Hobey Baker Award.

Morrison was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 1993 and has now accumulated 398 regular season points in the NHL.
