With the Alberta Division regular season coming to a close last weekend, the BC Hockey League (BCHL) has announced dates for the Alberta side of the Rogers playoffs.
The Okotoks Oilers and Spruce Grove Saints finished fourth and fifth respectively and will faceoff in the best-of-five wildcard series, starting this Wednesday, April 10.
Wildcard Schedule:
Game 1: April 10 – Spruce Grove at Okotoks – 7 p.m. MT
Game 2: April 11 – Okotoks at Spruce Grove – 7 p.m. MT
Game 3: April 13 – Spruce Grove at Okotoks – 7 p.m. MT
Game 4: April 15 – Okotoks at Spruce Grove – 7 p.m. MT*
Game 5: April 16 – Spruce Grove at Okotoks – 7 p.m. MT*
*If necessary
One semifinal series is already set between the second place Sherwood Park Crusaders and the third place Blackfalds Bulldogs. That best-of-seven series is will commence on Friday, April 19.

Game 1: April 19 – Blackfalds at Sherwood Park – 7 p.m. MT
Game 2: April 20 – Blackfalds at Sherwood Park – 7 p.m. MT
Game 3: April 23 – Sherwood Park at Blackfalds – 7 p.m. MT
Game 4: April 24 – Sherwood Park at Blackfalds – 7 p.m. MT
Game 5: April 26 – Blackfalds at Sherwood Park – 7 p.m. MT*
Game 6: April 28 – Sherwood Park at Blackfalds – 2 p.m. MT*
Game 7: April 30 – Blackfalds at Sherwood Park – 7 p.m. MT*

The first-place Brooks Bandits will take on the winner of the wildcard series in the second semifinal. Those dates will be announced when their opponent is confirmed.
