Kohen Olischefski’s goal in the first minute of the third period completed a comeback win for the Chilliwack Chiefs in a see-saw affair against the host Victoria Grizzlies. The win gives the Chiefs a 3-1 series lead.
Linden Hora and Powell Connor scored in the opening frame to give the Chiefs a 2-0 lead before Nathan Looysen got one back for Victoria to get within one heading to the second. In the middle frame, Jamie Rome and Cole Pickup scored 43 seconds apart to put the Grizz ahead 3-2 but Jordan Kawaguchi replied to tie it heading to the second intermission.
Cole Pickup was whistled for holding near the end of the second and Olischefski capitalized with the power play carrying over to the third. With Olivier Arseneau and Kawaguchi on the setup, Olischefski notched the decisive tally 50 seconds into the third, his fourth game-winner of the postseason.
Mark Sinclair made 35 saves for the win. Game 5 goes Friday at 7 p.m. in Chilliwack.
