Brooks Bandits forward Hunter Wallace has been named the BCHL’s Alberta Division Player of the Week.
The Merrimack College commit notched his first hat trick in the BCHL last week in the Bandits 9-1 win over the Sherwood Park Crusaders. In a battle of the top two teams in the division standings, Wallace and his teammates took over the game early and never looked back. The 2003-born forward capped off his team’s scoring in the first period to make it 3-0 at intermission, then scored twice more in the third, with one coming on a power play, making it a 9-1 final. He was named first star of the game.
Wallace has 11 goals in the BCHL, which leads his team and is tied for second in the Alberta Division, while his 19 points are tied for fourth in the Division and also tied for the most on the Bandits.
