Chilliwack Chiefs forward Jaret Babych has accepted an opportunity to play NCAA Div. III hockey at the University of Massachusettes-Dartmouth for next season.
Babych played three full seasons in the BCHL with Chilliwack. The North Vancouver native registered 30 goals and 22 assists while chalking up 109 penalty minutes.
The Corsairs of UMass-Dartmouth compete in the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and they were the conference tournament champions in 2013.
Babych is currently the lone BCHL graduate committed to the Corsairs.
