Kim, Loranger, Badger named NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week

Surrey Eagles forward Sihwan Kim, Sherwood Park Crusaders forward Jeremy Loranger and Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward Grayson Badger have been named the NAPA Auto Parts 3 Stars of the Week.

1st Star – Sihwan Kim (F) – Surrey Eagles

Kim led the league in scoring last week, picking up eight points in four games, including six assists.

After notching one assist in Tuesday’s 6-3 road win over the Victoria Grizzlies, as well as Wednesday’s 5-3 loss to the Cowichan Valley Capitals, Kim hit his stride with a four-point effort on Friday in the Eagles 5-1 victory over the Coquitlam Express. The Seoul, South Korea product had a goal and three assists to lead the way offensively.

The next night, Kim chalked up one goal and one helper in an 8-6 loss in a rematch with the Express.

The 20-year-old now leads the Eagles with 33 points in 25 games, which ties him for seventh overall in the BCHL scoring race.

2nd Star – Jeremy Loranger (F) – Sherwood Park Crusaders

Loranger recorded two goals and four assists for six points in two outings over the weekend.

He started his weekend with a goal in a 4-2 home loss to the Brooks Bandits, but did most of his damage on Saturday night against the Okotoks Oilers. The 2025 NHL Draft prospect contributed one goal and four assists for a season-high five points en route to a 9-5 victory.

With his offensive outburst, Loranger retook the BCHL scoring lead with 47 points in 28 games.

3rd Star – Grayson Badger (F) – Alberni Valley Bulldogs

Badger totaled three points in each of his two games last weekend, finishing with six points in a pair of Bulldogs victories.

On Friday night, the Northeastern University commit tallied one goal and two assists to help Alberni Valley top the Nanaimo Clippers 5-3. He was named first star of the game.

A night later, Badger put up the same stat line as the Bulldogs earned a tight 5-4 victory over the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The Hyde Park, Mass. native has chalked up 18 points in his last 10 contests and sits tied for fifth in league scoring with 35 points in 26 games.
